Have you ever fallen into sadness, anger or anxiety and found it difficult to shift yourself? Are your relationships difficult and you don’t know how to fix them? Have you ever found yourself brooding about the past or fearing the future and not living in the present?
If these inner world states sound familiar you are certainly not alone. Without the right strategies the mind can easily become susceptible to negative patterns.
Self-inquiry is a time-honoured yogic practice to investigating the inner world and learning how to shift feelings. Swami Shankarananda (Swamiji) has developed a brilliant form of Self-inquiry called the Shiva Process. Forged from his own sadhana and at the feet of his Guru, Swami Muktananda the Shiva Process carries the grace of the lineage.
As Swamiji says of his revolutionary method: ‘Proper use of the Self-inquiry will revolutionise and enliven every aspect of life: career, relationships, health and spirituality. It is a secret technique of the yogi who lives in the world, and it give him an enormous edge’.
