A group of resident ‘ashramites’ live and work at the Ashram, devoting themselves to spirituality and helping run our activities and programs. The Ashram is open to the public and welcomes everyone with love.

The Ashram offers a weekly schedule of programs including satsang, Sanskrit chanting and Self-inquiry groups.
As well as that, we also hold several Meditation Retreats and Kundalini Awakening Intensives a year. All of our courses and programs are a doorway into the practice of meditation and mindfulness.
People visit the Mount Eliza Ashram to practice meditation and yoga and to study spiritual philosophies like Kashmir Shaivism, Vedanta, and Self-inquiry, as taught by the great masters and ancient yogis. Seekers hear spiritual discourse and experience the Divine. It is a place where one realizes the highest potential of human life.
The Ashram is open to the public and welcomes everyone with love regardless of race, religion, gender or philosophical leanings. Though The Ashram belongs to a Hindu lineage you do not have to consider yourself a Hindu to attend. Everyone can take a course or come to the programs.
The Ashram serves three principal groups of people: the residents, the community of meditators and the general public. Some live locally and others travel from Melbourne and even interstate and internationally.
